We talk about Project Cure CRC, a $100 million initiative by the Colorectal Cancer Alliance that continues to revolutionize colorectal cancer research. To date, Project Cure CRC has reviewed more than 500 research proposals and invested nearly $13 million to fuel 32 innovative studies.

And, Mariana Tata was diagnosed with colon cancer last year, after noticing blood in her stool and constant bloating, so she trusted her instincts and got a colonoscopy. Shortly after, she was diagnosed with Stage IV colorectal cancer. She had surgery right away, which she talks about. She’s an advocated for health detection and she will be going to DC this year to advocate Congress to put aside more money for colon cancer research.
